"The Lord Looketh on the Heart" by Michael D. Brown

On March 31, 2015, Michael D. Brown gave a devotional talk called "The Lord Looketh on the Heart"and I absolutely loved this devotional. He spoke about our spiritual hearts and how they affect us. He spoke that Heavenly Father known all of our hearts and so we should look at it ourselves. He says that we need to look at our hearts and ask ourselves if we have clean hands and pure hearts. We need to have courage in everything we do to continue our spiritual journey. Our spiritual heart draws us closer to Heavenly Father, protects us against sin, gives us strength and hope, and gives us want to serve. This has had an impact on me because I know that if I focus on my spiritual heart, then I will have a better relationship with my Heavenly Father and I will have a better attitude towards everything. I know that I can change my ways and have a change in my life for the better if I follow what Brother Brown has shared through this devotional. I could share with someone else that if they follow their spiritual heart, they will be able to understand that everything about the church is true and they will also have a better life and understanding of everything that goes on around us. This could also be very helpful in choosing a career path because we will be able to see and understand ourselves in a new light.
