Devoted Discipleship

During the March 17, 2015 devotional given at BYU, Carl Hernandez III gave a talk on Devoted Discipleship. He is a professor here on campus in the law school. He spoke about how we stand in this world and what virtues we have that can make us more like Christ. We must add our attributes together and we cannot progress one way without another. We have to make our way to have the attribute of charity, but we need all those other attributes. The pathway to devoted discipleship includes all these attributes that we must have in order to make our way back to our Heavenly Father. I know that in my life I will run into a lot of trials and the path may get hard, but if I continue to strive for it, nothing and no one can stop me from returning to my Heavenly Father. If we continue to add our attributes together and one day add charity to it, we will be well on our way. I can share with others this same message about our path to becoming devoted disciples and I know that others will stop and think that it is true. I know everything that is shared through devotionals is true and there to help us in our time here on earth.
